ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Geo Kaan

Geo Kaan is a researcher, writer, and tech industry insider who has spent over two decades working in web development, UX, and Product Design. From hacker roots to releasing electronic music as 8Bit, his diverse background lays the foundation for the SoMed911 System.

In 1999, he founded Protoactive, an interactive studio for digital video and web solutions, and later launched Freesoul.Today, a healing-centered tech support service. After witnessing the detrimental effects of algorithmic social media, he saw a need for a practical skill set to educate users and developed the SoMed911 framework. This book synthesizes years of research, personal experience, and practical experimentation into a comprehensive guide for digital wellness.

He holds a B.S. in Applied Interactive Multimedia from CUNY Brooklyn College—encompassing computer science, film, and design technology—and continues to research the intersection of technology and human psychology.
